What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. We also use similar technologies such as local storage for your cookie preference choice.
When you first visit im.forsale, we show a cookie banner so you can accept all cookies, allow essential cookies only, or customize your preferences. You can change your mind at any time using the options on this page.
How We Use Cookies
We group cookies and similar technologies into these categories:
- Essential — required for the site to work (login session, security, remembering your cookie choice).
- Analytics — optional first-party statistics about page views and domain listing interest.
- Security (Google reCAPTCHA) — optional Google services that help prevent spam and abuse on forms.
We do not use third-party advertising or marketing cookies on im.forsale.
Cookie Categories in Detail
Essential Cookies
These are always active because the website cannot function properly without them. They include:
imforsale_session— Laravel session (keeps you logged in, CSRF protection).im_forsale_cookie_consent— stores your cookie preference choice.
Analytics Cookies & Tracking
If you accept analytics cookies, we record first-party usage statistics on our own servers to understand how im.forsale is used. This includes:
- Page view counts for site pages (admin reporting).
- Domain listing views, referrer, and approximate location derived from IP (admin analytics).
- A visitor identifier stored in your session to link views before you register an account.
This data is processed on im.forsale infrastructure. We do not use Google Analytics or other third-party analytics scripts.
Security — Google reCAPTCHA v3 and v2
If you accept security cookies, we load Google reCAPTCHA to protect forms from automated abuse:
- reCAPTCHA v3 — runs in the background on pages where our scripts are loaded, scoring interactions before form submission (contact, login, register, password reset).
- reCAPTCHA v2 — checkbox challenge shown when v3 score is too low or additional verification is required.
Google may set cookies such as _GRECAPTCHA and process data in the United States.
See Google’s privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy
and reCAPTCHA terms: policies.google.com/terms.
If you decline security cookies, protected forms may not work until you enable them in your cookie preferences.

You can update your choices at any time:
